When I was still 4, I used to ask my mom this question, "Mom, why are we riding the big bus again? Where are we gonna go?" And she would say, "Would you expect us to walk all the way to Pagudpud? We're going to spend our Christmas at your Abuela's house.
CHRISTMAS? What does Christmas mean to you? Have you ever spend this occasion with your love ones? Me, I will never ever forget Christmas. It's not because of the gifts I receive nor the foods served during Noche Buena but it's because of someone who completes my heart and it's Jesus Christ.
To keep this post going, I would like to continue my introduction a while. During Christmas, the whole family would spend it at Pagudpud. Have you ever heard of that place? Just search it at Google. Haha. At my grandpa and grandma's house, we would prepare fried fish, roasted fish, baked fish, fish crackers, and every dishes made out of fish (since we are near the beach). I would love helping my grandma do the job while my older brother and mom would take care of the other dishes. Whenever I reminisce those happenings, I can't help but feel sad because my grandma and grandpa (father side) are already in heaven. Nevertheless, Christmas is not about reunions or the like.
