Who would ever not celebrate when the school year ends? Is there anyone? The riiiing of the school bell signifies one thing as the HSM2 song says, "What time is it?". The answer is SUMMERTIME!!!! I find it humorous because I could never imagine myself way back elementary that when summer comes, I'd like to paaaaarteeeey and shout cheeeeerrrrrs!!! for the two-month holiday I consider the longest of all H-O-L-I-D-A-Y-S.
It's been 17 fruitful years that I've existed. And to come to think of it, standing in this ground is a living testimony of how God has made this world beautiful and close to perfect no one could ever imagine.
I still remember my childhood, my parents used to throw me at my abuela's house (father side) located at Brgy. Malingay, Pagudpud for a vacation. As I reminisce those memories, it wasn't that astonishing and a "tourist spot" material. In short, the place was still undeveloped. I mean it literally when I say undeveloped. With roads dusty and not cemented. Very much poor cellular phone signal (which was not yet invented before), very much limited transportation and most of all, few houses. We actually need to travel 5-10 minutes just as so we reach our neighbor's yard. *lol. Nevertheless, I keep on going back there 'coz I really love the beach and swamping into the crystal-like waters.
As summers passed by, it did never run into my mind that our place at Pagudpud will be developed someday. I just found one time I went there, houses kept numbering. The one and only road which would take you there was finally converted to concrete and is now safe to walk or drive upon. Signals, Smart telecommunication has already its own cell site (I just don't know for globe 'coz you actually need to carry your cp to the mountains and raise it to find signal. *very much oldies). One place that really caught my very naked eye was this place known as "Hannah's Place". It's just so amazing because this place is studded by light when the dawn falls. The place is so invigorating and welcoming. The ambiance is just so perfect for short or long time unwinding. Friendly faces await you and healthy smiles accompany you all through. The place is really just so PERFECT!!! When the sun shines and the heat strokes over, the beach gets crowded by two-piece bikini girls and macho 6-packed abs gentlemen, your eyes would actually bloat out of your googly face.
What do you need to know about Hannah's Beach Resort? Apart from being the best venue for summer getaways, Hannah’s Beach Resort & Convention Center is the newest and most exciting vacation destination in Northern Luzon. It is situated right in front of the famous Blue Lagoon (Maira-ira Beach) at Brgy. Balaoi, Malingay, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It offers both exclusivity and luxury in an overwhelming friendly environment. The Blue Lagoon, with its captivating crystal clear waters and white sand beach, will surely make your stay a memorable and enjoyable one. You've read it right, it is an all-in-one summer place that would surely fit your very tastes!
I'm really so so interested in plugging this place because I myself is a part of the history of this place. A part of the land where the Resort is situated, it was originally owned by my grandfather, the late Manuel Lagundino (RIP to you lolo). And one thing more, I've tried Hannah's place's banana boat twice already and the experience was so awesome!!! I guess upon reading this blog, you'll surely have to try visiting Hannah's.
